Meet The Owner
My birth name is Josalyn, but I was spiritually blessed with the name Sunnie. I am a proud Mama Bear of five and a woman who has grown from many obstacles. I have walked through darkness which has given me appreciation for my light. Whether you are birthing a baby or birthing your next chapter, I hold space for your life changing transitions. With me, your light is noticed, your path is honored, and your healing begins.
My passion for birth began during my first pregnancy at the age of seventeen. I fell deeply in love with pregnancy itself, watching my body transform, feeling my son grow within my womb, and experiencing a love and purpose that forever changed my life.
As my journey continued, I began to realize how generational trauma can shape families in both visible and invisible ways, and how healing is just as important as preparing for birth itself. That understanding inspired me to support other families as they welcome new life while creating healthier foundations for future generations. That belief became the heart and foundation for House of Sunflowers.

I am a mother, a healer, and a woman who chooses herself. That is why my work is not just 'work', it is rooted in rebirth and love."
